Morris Associates has been appointed by a large regional contractor to give advice on dealing with potential overlapping and concurrent delays on the same design and build project involving interlinked trade sub-contractors. The forms of sub-contract are all DOM/2.

Richard Morris has been appointed as Expert Witness to provide evidence in a litigation matter as to delays and disruption incurred by a Defendant contractor as a result of claimed failures by the bathroom pod Claimant sub-contractor under a DOM/2 sub-contract.

Richard Morris has been appointed as Expert Witness to provide programme advice in arbitration relating to the construction of a town centre supermarket development and associated significant roadworks. The form of contract was JCT 1998.

Richard Morris has been appointed as Expert Witness to provide programme advice in relation to a litigation matter where a contractor is suing an architect for delays (relating back to an arbitration a few years before).

Richard Morris has been appointed as the Expert Witness on programme matters in an arbitration in relation to a structural steelwork sub-contract.
Expert Witness – International Arbitration
Richard Morris has been appointed as the Expert Witness on programme matters in an arbitration in relation to an infrastructure project in the Falkland Islands.
The arbitrator, having considered Richard’s Reports and evidence in the Hearing, awarded a full extension of time and concluded that:
“…I found Mr. Morris to be a reliable and competent witness.”
Programme Advice – Hospital
Richard Morris has been retained to provide independent advice to a National Health Service Trust on any extension of time entitlements of a main contractor for a series of new build ward blocks. Richard has also been appointed as the Expert Witness on programme matters in any subsequent proceedings.
